Once the Japan Islands were part of the Eurasia.We can know that the fossils of teeth of Nauman elephants or big antlers of deer 50000 ~25000 years ago were found at the Nojiri-ko in Nagano. Chasing their preys-mammoths or deer etc., some came from the Eurasia to Japan.Others came southward from beyond the South China Sea.They used stone implements.The reason why it is said they were our ancestors.

In 1946,Tadahiro Aizawa,22 years old, was a huckster and sold some household goods on his bicycle. He loved to study archaeology and learned it by himself. One day after the Cathrine Typhoon, he happened to find a piece of the stone implement among the Kanto loam stratum.

"At last I found it!" I cried...he said in his book titled "The discovery of I wajuku."

The archaeologists used to stop trying to search for the stone implements when they reached the Kanto loam stratum formed 40000years ago. Because they thought there were no human beings in Japan at that age.

This was the first proof of the existence of human beings over 10000 years ago.
